Stair Railings & Cases

Custom railings and cases designed to integrate with a project’s architectural language while emphasizing proportion, rhythm, and material clarity. Each piece is fabricated using forged or machined components, with detailing calibrated to match site conditions and design intent — from restrained contemporary runs to more expressive, traditional forms.

This portfolio includes work executed independently and in collaboration with other firms, where I played a direct role in fabrication, design, or preservation

Forged Stair Rail – Charlotte, North Carolina

A hand-forged wrought iron stair railing with clean vertical pickets, accented by a rhythmic band of circular motifs and subtle scrollwork. Designed in consideration of the home’s historical style, the smooth, continuous handrail ends in a graceful volute, reinforcing its classical character. Set against warm wood tones, the dark metal provides a refined contrast, balancing simplicity with decorative detail.
